I love to tell stories.

At parties, I tell people I’m the last generalist.

The world is so big, everyone has to specialize. And I have specialized: in storytelling, writing, content production. I can write your style guide, craft your data-driven content strategy, and then execute on brand-aligned content all day long.

But when it comes to what I read about, think about, and write about — I am wildly expansive in my interests. I know enough about practically anything to hold an intelligent conversation and, with some research, to write a thoughtful and compelling piece.

I thrive in settings where I am learning all the time.

I read constantly, because I am endlessly interested in the world. I love writing because it makes me think even more deeply, in order to organize my thoughts and transform complex ideas into limpid prose. I also, by the way, do graphic design as well as audio and video production. But I’m a writer first.

I am profoundly interested in making the world a better place for all of humanity, and it makes me fiercely proud to use my skills to contribute to an organization that is driven by this as well, in any sphere. This is important to me.

I’m an introvert who still loves leading a class, giving a talk, or conducting a meeting. I make sure to set aside time for deep flow, with no interruptions, when the ideas flow smoothly. I love to teach and to organize. My Asana projects are works of art.
